Fightin' Cranes Playoff Bound

The Grand Island Fightin' Cranes clinched a spot in the first Diamond Baseball League championship series with a 10-4, come from behind win over Fremont on Tuesday. Trailing 4-1, GI plated two in the sixth and seven in the seventh to turn the game around.

Sam Dinkelman went 2-4, doubled, knocked in four and scored once to pace the offense. Carter Cohn pitch five innings of three-hit relief to pick up the win.

Grand Island is a half game back of Sedalia Missouri for the top spot in the league. Each team has four games remaining. The Fightin' Cranes host Fremont again on Wednesday for a 7pm game.
