• Nebraska and Kansas have met 256 times on the diamond, with the Huskers holding a 150-104-2 lead over the Jayhawks in the all-time series. 
• The two teams split a pair of midweek contests last season, where the Big Red picked up a 7-5 win in Lawrence and the Jayhawks blanked the Huskers 4-0 in Lincoln.

• Nebraska checked in at No. 19 in the D1Baseball rankings, No. 14 in the Perfect Game and NCBWA polls, No. 17 in the USA Today/Coaches poll and No. 20 in Baseball America's Top 25 after going 4-0 last week against Creighton and Penn State.
• Nebraska is one of four Big Ten teams to appear in the rankings this week, with UCLA (No. 1), USC (No. 14) and Oregon (No. 21) also landing spots in D1Baseball's Top 25 poll.

Big Red Off to Second-Best Start This Century
• With a 26-6 start to the season, Nebraska is off to its best start since opening the 2006 campaign with a 27-5 mark.
• The 26 wins in the first 32 games are tied for second-most this century, matching the Huskers' 26-6 record to begin 2005.

Home Sweet Home at Haymarket Park
• Nebraska is in its 25th season playing at Hawks Field at Haymarket Park this year and hasn't had a losing season at home in any of the last 24 seasons.
• Following the series sweep of Penn State last weekend, the Huskers are 455-183-1 in 639 all-time games at Hawks Field at Haymarket Park.

Huskers Finish March Among Program's Best
• Nebraska compiled an 18-2 record in the month of March, recording one of the best months of March in program history.
• The 18 wins are fourth-most in program history, as the Big Red went 22-0 in 1983, 22-8 in 1984 and 19-2-1 in 2008.
• Additionally, the Huskers recorded the third-best winning percentage all-time in March with a .900 winning percentage, trailing the 1983 (1.000) and 1999 (.923) seasons.
• The Big Red have reached the 15-win mark in the month of March 15 times, including six seasons with at least 17 victories.

Big Red Set for Eighth Midweek Matchup
• Nebraska comes into Tuesday's tilt against Kansas with a 7-0 record in midweek games this season. 
• In the seven midweek contests, the Husker offense is batting .332 at the plate with 17 doubles, two triples and four home runs while scoring 8.9 runs per game. 
• The NU pitching staff has recorded a 3.69 ERA and a 3.17 strikeout-to-walk ratio while limiting opponents to a .213 batting average in the midweek games.

Notables on the 2026 Campaign
• With wins against No. 7 Auburn and No. 16 Florida State this season, the Big Red are 8-5 against ranked opponents in the last two seasons.
• With an 11-1 start in Big Ten play, Nebraska is off to its best conference start since at least 2000.
• Nebraska has recorded multiple 10-game win streaks in the same season for the first time since 2006 after winning its last 10 games and tallying 11 consecutive victories in March.
• The Big Red is 15-0 in home games this season, recording their best home start since opening the home slate with a 17-0 record in 2005.
• With Dylan Carey and Mac Moyer leading the Big Red with 51 hits each, the Huskers are one of two teams nationally with two players with 50-plus hits on the season.
• Mac Moyer is one of seven players in the country hitting above .410 at the plate with more than 35 runs scored this season.
• The Husker offense is scoring 7.69 runs per game through 32 games this season, a pace the Big Red haven't finished a full season at since 2002, when the Huskers averaged 7.99 runs per game.
